Help for Heroes - Practical, direct support for our wounded

"It’s about the blokes, our men and women of the Armed Forces. It’s about Derek, a rugby player who has lost both his legs, it’s about Carl whose jaw is wired up so he has been drinking through a straw. It’s about Richard who was handed a mobile phone as he lay on the stretcher so he could say goodbye to his wife. It’s about Ben, it’s about Steven and Andy and Mark, it’s about them all. They are just blokes but they are our blokes; they are our heroes. We want to help our heroes."

The SSA Wight Stuff event organisers would like everyone who enters the event to do their best to raise a minimum of £100 sponsorship money, either by collecting sponsors or by making a personal donation.

 

PWC PERMIT

ALL SSA Wight Stuff Cruise participants must have QHM PWC Permit.  Please do not enter event if you haven't applied for permit.

As of 2006 all Personal Watercraft launching at Daedalus Slipway must be in possession of QHM Dockyard PWC Permit and obey local bylaws.  Permit is free, see the Quick Links (left) for permit application.

 

APRES SKI!

This will be the seventh time the SSA have organised this great 70 mile challenge and we'll be having a Wight Stuff Après- Ski party to celebrate.   All participants will be invited to the party on the Saturday night to let your hair down.  Don't miss out, it'll be a blast!
All participants must have minimum £1,000,000 3rd party PWC insurance.

Please remember to bring your proof of insurance as it must be checked at start of the event.

 

 

 

 

SSA Wight Stuff Cruise 2010 - Be part of it!

The SSA Wight Stuff Cruise - 2010 will be open to a total of 60 skis, with the initial places being made available to SSA club members and members of associated PWC clubs.

Not a club member?  Not a problem -  join SSA as Day Member £10, please send in Day Membership form along with Wight Stuff Entry.

For all participants there is a £40.00 entry fee for The Wight Stuff, this price incredibly includes lunch and a free t-shirt for each jet-skier.

Additional T-shirts are available at £10.00 if required but please add on your Entry Form as additional orders cannot be made at a later date.

Please use the Wight Stuff Application form in the quick links on the left to apply for a place on this year's event.  All successful applicants will be notified by e-mail and will be sent joining instructions prior to the event. 

You will receive notification of your place on the event along with detailed joining instructions.
