All participants must have minimum £1,000,000 3rd party PWC insurance.

Please remember to bring your proof of insurance as it must be checked at start of the event.

This year the SSA Wight Stuff charity cruise is in aid of Make-A-Wish Foundation® UK.

Make-A-Wish Foundation® UK grants magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening illnesses.  Our wishes are truly magical. Whether a wish is to be a princess or a policeman for a day, own the latest computer equipment, meet a favourite celebrity or just enjoy some special time away from home with their family, a wish come true brings so much to a child’s life and provides memories that last a lifetime.

The SSA Wight Stuff event organisers would like everyone who enters the event to do their best to raise a minimum of £50 sponsorship money, either by collecting sponsors or by making a personal donation.

The SSA Wight Stuff Cruise - 2008 will be open to a total of 60 skis, with the initial places being made available to club members and members of associated PWC clubs.  Any remaining spaces will be opened up to day members*.

For all participants there is a £20.00 entry fee for The Wight Stuff, this price incredibly includes lunch and a free t-shirt for each jet-skier (your pillion passenger rides free but would pay £5.00 on the day for lunch).  Additional T-shirts are available at £10.00 if required but please add on your Entry Form as additional orders cannot be made at a later date.

A mandatory fuel stop is planned at Yarmouth, please ensure you have means of payment for fuel.

Please use the Wight Stuff Application form in the quick links on the left to apply for a place on this year's event.  All successful applicants will be notified by e-mail and will be sent joining instructions prior to the event.

JOIN THE SSA!

A new membership with the SSA is £35, or a days event membership is only £10 - but why only have a day when membership to our club not only allows you to participate in this event but join us in future events and gain discounts from many leading PWC retailers.

APRES SKI!

This will be the sixth time the SSA have organised this great 70 mile challenge and we'll be having a Wight Stuff Après- Ski party to celebrate.   All participants are invited to the party on the Saturday night to let your hair down.  Don't miss out, it'll be a blast!

  
PWC PERMIT

ALL SSA Wight Stuff Cruise participants must have QHM PWC Permit.  Please do not enter event if you haven't applied for permit.

As of 2006 all Personal Watercraft launching at Daedalus Slipway must be in possession of QHM Dockyard PWC Permit and obey local bylaws.  Permit is free, see the Quick Links (left) for permit application.
