LAUNCHING Lee-on-the-Solent, Hill Head and Stokes Bay are busy sea side resorts visited by thousands of people each year who undertake many varied water activities including swimming, jet-skiing, and water skiing. In order to make it safer for these activities to occur zones have been created around the Daedalus Slipway, click image to view. Park up in car park, get kitted up and prep ski prior to launch. Remember to allow the trailer bearings time to cool down. Take care when launching ski! There is usually a shingle bank built up on the slipway and its best to have a few others assisting if launching manually. When launched proceed at less than 10 knots to the jetski/waterski zones through the transit area, (Click on pic above for zones lay out).
Launching and retrieval is possible at most states of tide but please don't be afraid to ask for assistance or advice, we're a good bunch and we don't bite!
