Chilli Cruise, New Years Day 2004
Not just content with getting on the water on New Years Day many club members turned up in fancy dress. Among the throng was a gorilla, Rod Stewart, Robin the boy wonder, Davey Crockett, a viking (Jimmy Saville wearing a silly hat), , and Santa Claus (complete with jet-sleigh, presents and a Christmas tree!) as well as many other club members and families ready to celebrate the New Year!

After a short trip round the coast to Stokes Bay for a charity cheque presentation to GAFIRS (see SSA News) the group headed off to the Isle of Wight, returning to Lee for the hotly anticipated chilli and refreshments. So starts another year on the sunny Solent! |
