To Poole and not at a push
The following pictures are from the first over night trip organised by the SSA. Setting out from Lee at 10.30am on an overcast Saturday morning, the only planned stop on the 48 mile trip to Rockley Holiday Park in Poole was for breakfast at the Boat House cafe near Yarmouth.
The return journey was exciting to say the least with a following tide and a strong south westerly blowing (just what we're used to on the south coast!). Sadly there are no photos of the end of the day as everyone busily helped retrieve the skis but we have reports of lots of happy smiling faces from on lookers!
The event was well attended and a resounding success, Poole harbour master has even invited us back!
