Easter Eggstraordinary!
The Easter weekend weather was just perfect for distance cruising. With a gentle off shore breeze and hazy sunshine on Saturday club members cruised around to Sandown for lunch on the beach, then raced across the bay to Shanklin before making waves back home. Talking of making waves...Sunday was the family fun day at Lee on Solent. Friends and family were taken on PWC trips and the braver ones thrown about in the club's inflatable toy. The beach front was transformed into an Easter egg hunt for the kiddies, organised by Denise Kircher. The barbeque was fired up and made available all day. Monday's forecast was very similar to Saturday's for the trip down the Western Solent past Cowes, Yarmouth and out to the Needles.
